As part of the Yoga Alliance Social Credentialing system, teachers that register with Yoga Alliance must submit a review of the RYS training program they completed.
Feedback from trainees provides Registered Yoga Schools with the opportunity to understand their trainees’ experiences in order to continually improve their trainings.
By choosing to display comments, schools enable trainees to provide insight into a school’s culture and training which helps potential trainees choose the right teacher training for their individual path with yoga.

General Comments
As an experienced and committed student of yoga for nearly 15 years, I’ve spent countless hours on my mat with many instructors at various studies across different cities which I admit made me judgy and skeptical of training programs. However, of all the instructors I have practiced with, Jason is by far the most knowledgeable, and I trust his judgment as he has practiced and guided others for 25 years. He’s legit, and I absolutely enjoyed his program. Also, it helps that I found him relatable and grounded. He has a really smart witted sense of humor and entertaining analogies. It is an online training but perfectly balances engagement with the most ideal methods to absorb content. Jason hosted 2 zoom every week and made himself fully available for questions. He also provided all recorded lectures upfront which I could play at my own pace and timing. This was especially helpful with the topics focused on anatomy since the information is quite dense but Jason breaks it down beautifully while keeping us focused on the big picture. Definitely recommending this training to anyone who is interested in yoga whether you are new or a scrappy old veteran like me- we had a diverse range of yogis in our training.
